We want to make sure it's quick and easy for you to see how your deals are progressing, so we’ve implemented some improvements to make this simpler than ever and ensure all relevant people are kept in the loop.
With the new “WATCH” function, you can now receive notifications only for deals that matter to you. We have also refined the contents and timing of notifications to help your deals cross the finish line with only key updates being shared with you. In-app notifications can now be marked as read or unread to support you in managing and prioritizing your deals.
Whereas previously you had to be manually subscribed to deal updates, you can now easily choose to receive deal updates on deals where you are a ‘WATCHER’. This setting is automatically activated for all users by default. It can of course be turned off should this be preferred.
Any user who has contributed to a deal, performed an action like submitting the initial deal memo, sending a new revision to the other party, or posting a message to the chat will now automatically become a ‘WATCHER’.
- For Licensees, the user who submits the deal memo form becomes the first watcher of the deal.
- For Licensors, all users with administrative privileges and all non-administrative users who have access to the brand will automatically become watchers.
An additional update that has been added is a new notification to ensure deal chat messages aren’t missed. When new messages are posted to the deal chat, watchers will be notified within 10 minutes, with both an email and with an in-product notification, that new chat messages have been posted for a deal.
These new notification updates will make it easier than ever to stay informed, take action, and keep your deals on track.
