At negosh we pride ourselves on making brand collaboration as easy as possible, especially for those new to the industry. As part of this ongoing mission we’re pleased to share that we’ve added the option for brand owners to create custom deal memo templates on the platform.
This feature will allow for more streamlined deal making and save on unnecessary information sharing.
For ease, the custom deal memo template starts with the standard deal memo template and allows for the hiding of unneeded fields, as well as the addition of new fields to request information not covered by the standard template. Some key information fields remain mandatory, such as deal summary and legal names and addresses.
This innovation allows brand owners to not only ask for whatever additional information they need but also saves licensees filling out information that isn’t required. So it's a win-win for everybody.
New custom deal memo templates can be created for each brand giving full flexibility for customization.
The standard deal memo template remains the default for licensors to use but should a custom deal memo template be preferred, it can easily be found under the menu item "Deal Memo Templates" in the brand owner’s company profile. This template can then be duplicated, named and edited so that it is suited to individual needs. The custom deal memo template can be assigned to some, or all, of the brands the licensor has on the platform. It can also be easily unassigned at any time at which point the standard template will be automatically assigned back, giving full flexibility.
We hope this new feature helps to make the deal making process on the platform as smooth and efficient as possible.
