For licensors, fashion collaborations are a fantastic lever to pull for many reasons - additional marketing for a new movie release, a way to celebrate a brand anniversary, a way to reenergise an older IP or drive awareness of a new one.
This summer has seen a lot of notable fashion collaborations, here are some that have stood out so far.
Jonathan Bailey x Cubbits
Jonathan Bailey has partnered with London-based spectacle maker Cubitts, to launch a limited-edition pair of sunglasses named Loomis. They draw inspiration from the brand’s Plimsoll frame, which went viral when worn by Bailey during the Jurassic World Rebirth press tour. The internet quickly dubbed them as “sluttly little glasses” — a term that was fully embraced by Bailey. This collaboration, which sees the frames finished with custom pink lenses, will support The Shameless Fund, Bailey’s LGBTQIA+ charity founded in 2024, which aims to empower LGBTQIA+ individuals to live authentically. Its a great example of leveraging a press tour viral moment to spin off into a product opportunity.
Oasis x adidas
adidas and Oasis are celebrating 30 years of shared history with the “Oasis Live ‘25” apparel, which reimagines classic ’90s looks for the modern day. This includes the quintessentially British tracksuit and trainers, and favorite pieces from the Gallagher brothers include Firebird tracksuits, raglen sleeve jerseys, bucket hats and coach jackets. With the much hyped Oasis reunion kicking off this past weekend in the UK 90s Britpop nostalgia is sure to be one of the fashion trends of summer 2025.
Lilo & Stitch x Ray-Ban
Licensed products for Lilo & Stitch have been on shelves for months, using the original animation first and then adding in live-action products alongside them. The stand out from the live-action movie products is Ray-Ban’s playful pink frames, perfect for summer and tapping into the Hawaiian vibe. Releasing alongside these have been some other great licensed products including RSVLTS’ Tiki Room-worthy Hawaiian shirts, Cakeworthy’s adorable fleece beanies with Stitch ears, H&M’s graphic tees for kids as well as collections from Adidas, Gap & Loungefly.
Superman x KITH
Kith is often seen as the ultimate fashion collaboration partner. Blending Kith’s signature streetwear aesthetic with the iconic DC Super Hero, this 17-piece collection features a wide array of products. The standout however is a satin bomber jacket, color-blocked in classic Superman hues with Kith and S-Shield appliqués. Alongside this is a Lucky Brand limited-edition capsule including graphic T-shirts, hoodies, a sweater and a vintage-inspired jacket. Instead of going for a logo-slap using the new S-shield, the collaboration pulls from Superman's history and comic-book roots to create a substantial and varied offering.
Ketnipz x Koi
Ketnipz and its lovable mascot, 'Bean' partnered with UK footwear brand Koi to deliver eight fun designs including everyday sneakers, Mary Janes and even platform boots. Known for their 'out there' styles (also check out their earlier Teletubbies collab), Koi's shoes look like they stepped right out of a cartoon, dripping with beads, star charms, scalloped edges, and bold outlines for an animated look. And the socks are just outright adorable.
F1 Pop Up
“F1 75 Years in Motion” is a homage to F1’s impact on fashion, innovation and culture housed in Selfridges in London. It celebrates 75 years of F1 and showcases the style evolution over the years, including pieces from the F1 x Peanuts collection, launched to celebrate both brands’ 75th anniversaries as well as exclusive TAG Heuer timepieces. It’s perfectly timed to not only mark the 75th anniversary but maximise the halo from this summer's F1 movie.
Doom x ASSC
The Anti Social Social Club (ASSC) collaborated with the DOOM franchise to mark the release of the latest game in the franchise “DOOM: The Dark Ages”. The collaboration pairs ASSC’s recognizable design and apparel with “DOOM’s” iconic imagery and font, and features hoodies, T-shirts, a hat and watches. DOOM is such a video game classic that the appeal for this collection is going to be wide.
TfL x UNIQLO
Building on their debut collection in 2023, this second collection introduces fresh designs and expanded personalization options. Rooted in a shared commitment to innovation, creativity and community engagement, the collaboration celebrates the cultural legacy of London alongside UNIQLO’s Japanese design sensibility and features original T-shirt and tote designs inspired by the iconic roundel, the London Underground map and graphics of the Routemaster bus and Tube trains. Customers can also design their own pieces using exclusive archival illustrations. London's tube and buses are iconic and this collection offers something elevated and different to the usual tourist trap products.
Mogul Moves x Cowboy Bebop
YouTuber Ludwig Ahgren collaborated on a limited-edition apparel collection with Japanese animation series “Cowboy Bebop”. A fan of the show himself, Ludwig ensured the collection centered artists in a way not seen in previous anime collabs, tapping into the global influencer community to provide original artwork for the collection. It features creative contributions from global talent, such as original pin designs from voice actress LilyPichu and original artwork by Chinese artist and illustrator, Jiankun Yu. The collection includes 10 total pieces ranging between $30 and $145. By tapping into not only a much loved IP but other well known fans the collection stands out with its true authenticity.
Ghost x Outrageous
Ghost partnered with Outrageous, the upcoming TV drama series, on a 30-piece limited-edition collection. Combining the distinctive 1930s style of the on-screen looks and Ghost’s signature vintage-inspired lens the collection was curated by Outrageous costume designer Claire Collins and Ghost’s Head of Creative. Each piece celebrates vintage inspired elegance and timeless sophistication. 'Inspired by' collections not only give fans to 'live' their fandoms but can also appeal more widely through their quality and style.
Monopoly x Baseball Lifestyle 101
Hasbro has partnered on a limited-edition apparel collection with Baseball Lifestyle 101, combining the Monopoly brand with baseball culture. The 21-piece collection features a range of clothing and accessories including graphic hoodies, varsity jackets, mesh shorts, T-shirts and backpacks.
Looney Tunes x Born X Raised
The campaign features longtime friends of the brand, professional skater and new dad Boo Johnson, Shoreline Mafia’s OhGeesy and rapper Aston Matthews, alongside other fathers. The drop is both a tribute to fatherhood and a nod to the cartoons we all grew up on. The lineup includes a Speedy Gonzales lowrider T-shirt, a Wile E. Coyote “That’s All Folks” T-shirt, a classic BXR rocker T-shirt with character graphics on the back and a Marvin the Martian T-shirt. By partnering with real life fans and tapping into the mini-me trend this collection will likely find a wide audience.
