Born from the imagination of Cubmaster Don Murphy in Manhattan Beach, California, the Derby was designed to bring families together through hands-on fun and friendly competition. Over the decades, it has evolved into a beloved tradition, with more than 150 million cars built and countless memories made.

As we approach the 75th Anniversary in 2028, the Pinewood Derby stands as a symbol of timeless ingenuity. But this isn’t your grandfather’s Derby anymore.
