

Travis Shaw, nicknamed “The Mayor” is a former MLB infielder known for his time with the Boston Red Sox, Milwaukee Brewers, and Toronto Blue Jays. Making his MLB debut in 2015 with the Red Sox, Shaw's strong bat earned him a spot in the major leagues. Over his eight-year career, he accumulated a .237 batting average, hitting 114 home runs and driving in 366 RBIs, establishing himself as a key contributor to his teams' lineups. Before entering professional baseball, Shaw had an impactful college career at Kent State University. He was a standout player for the Kent State Golden Flashes, earning All-Mid-American Conference honors and finishing his junior season with 14 home runs, ranking as one of the top hitters in the league. This success led to him being drafted by the Red Sox in 2011. Shaw’s professional journey continued with a promising start in the minors, which eventually led to his major league debut.
