

Michael “OJ” Ojemudia was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos following playing collegiately for the University of Iowa. Michael made his first career start in the Broncos’ 2020 season-opener against the Tennessee Titans. He finished his rookie season with 62 tackles, 4 forced fumbles, & 6 pass deflections. He became the first rookie in NFL history to record multiple games with two or more forced fumbles, and was just the third NFL rookie in the last 20 years to force at least four fumbles in a season. Michael played for Broncos through the 1st half of the 2022 season prior to being picked up by the Chicago Bears for the 2nd half of the 2022 season. Michael made his Bears debut in the final regular season game vs. Minnesota, seeing game action on special teams. He will be an integral part of the Bears defense in the coming season. Off the field, Michael worked with Focus HOPE & Detroit Impact as part of the NFL’s My Cause, My Cleat campaign to work to overcome racial and economic inequalities & mentor and encourage at-risk youth in Detroit. In January 2024, Michael signed with the Arizona Cardinals to team up with their young cornerback corps to use his experience to elevate the unit.
