

Trey Hendrickson, a Defensive End for the Cincinnati Bengals, was born and raised in Apopka, Florida. His football journey began with a stellar high school career, culminating in a state championship. He then attended Florida Atlantic University, where he earned Conference-USA Defensive MVP honors and set the school record for career sacks. His impressive college performance led to his selection by the New Orleans Saints in the 3rd Round of the 2017 NFL Draft. During his four seasons with the Saints, he had a standout 2020 season, finishing 2nd in the NFL with 13.5 sacks and earning the #78 spot on the NFL's Top 100 list in 2021. Following his 2020-21 season, Hendrickson became a top free agent and signed a 4-year contract with the Cincinnati Bengals. In his first season with the Bengals, he broke the franchise record for most sacks in a season with 14, including a streak of 11 straight games with a half-sack or better, and was selected to the 2022 NFL Pro Bowl. He continued his strong performance in the playoffs with 3.5 sacks, including the first sack recorded in the Super Bowl. He was ranked #75 on the NFL's Top 100 list in 2022 and made his second consecutive Pro Bowl appearance after finishing the season with 8 sacks in 15 games. In 2023, he recorded 17.5 sacks, finishing 2nd in the league, and was selected to his third consecutive Pro Bowl. He was ranked #77 on the 2024 NFL Top 100 list. In the 2024/25 season, Hendrickson led the Bengals' defensive resurgence. His standout performance in Week 9 against the Las Vegas Raiders, where he recorded 4 sacks, propelled him to the top of the NFL sack leaderboard with 11 sacks. He finished the season with a dominant 17.5 sacks, tying his own record for the most sacks in Bengals history, and earning 1st Team All-Pro honors and his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl selection.
