

Geno Stone grew up in New Castle, Pennsylvania, and attended New Castle Junior/Senior High School, where he played wide receiver, quarterback, and defensive back on the football team. Stone was a multisport athlete participating in basketball and track & field before committing to football his senior year as an All-State team member after recording 97 tackles with 13 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, and 10 interceptions. Following his senior campaign, Geno would attend the University of Iowa as a 2-star recruit. Stone would play in all 13 games as a True Freshman before being named a starter for his Sophomore year campaign and receiving honorable mention All-Big Ten Conference. Junior year he would go on to record 70 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack, four passes broken up, three forced fumbles, one interception, and one fumble recovery and was named second-team All-Big Ten before entering the 2020 NFL Draft. Geno Stone was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He was elevated to the active roster on November 9 and November 14 for the team's week 9 and 10 games against the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots and reverted to the practice squad after each game. He was promoted to the active roster on November 17, 2020. Stone would be released and would play the rest of his 2020 season for the Houston Texans before signing a one-year deal in 2021 for a second stint with the Baltimore Ravens. Stone was named the starting free safety for the Ravens Week 6 against the New York Giants. He had six tackles in the 20–24 loss. He then followed up that performance leading the Ravens in tackles the next week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the 2022 season, Stone finished with 38 total tackles (34 solo), one pass defended, and one forced fumble. In March of 2023 Stone signed a new contract with the Baltimore Ravens. Through 8 weeks of the 2023 NFL season, Geno Stone is the league leader in interceptions (6). Stone became just the seventh Raven in team history to record an interception in at least three consecutive games, joining the likes of Ravens Legends and Hall of Famers, Ed Reed and Ray Lewis. Geno finished the 2023 season with 8 interceptions which was 2nd in the NFL. On March 14, 2024, Geno Stone signed a two-year contract with the Cincinnati Bengals. Stone tallied 81 total tackles and six passes defended, including 4 interceptions, across 17 games in 2024, his 4 interceptions are top 10 in the entire NFL.
