Jaquan Brisker is a rising safety for the Chicago Bears. He attended Penn State University where he was voted to First-Team All-Big 10 in 2021. The Chicago Bears drafted Jaquan in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft to play across from Pro Bowl Safety and fellow The Cut client, Eddie Jackson, to fortify the secondary. In his first season with the Bears, Jaquan quickly developed into a foundational, tone-setting player on defense for the Bears. Brisker became the first Bears defensive back since fellow client Eddie Jackson in 2017 to record a pick during their rookie campaign. For the third time in Bears franchise history, Brisker logged four or more sacks in a season as a defensive back. Brisker ended the season with 104 tackles (73 solo), both of which are the second-most on the team. Those 73 solo tackles were also the third-most amongst all rookies at the conclusion of the regular season. During the 2023 season, Jaquan was a key member and leader of the Bears defense, avoiding a sophomore slump with another amazing year. Jaquan was a tackling machine, ending with 105 total (66 solo), even having the most single-game tackles by a Bears defensive back with 17 against the Lions in week 13. Before suffering a season-ending injury in 2024, Jaquan was having a career year. Tallying 23 tackles, including 12 in one single game, Jaquan set the tone for the Bears defense and will be a leader of the team entering 2025 Articles: ESPN - Jaquan Brisker, Kyler Gordon igniting resurgence of Bears' secondary NFL - One-handed!
