A top prospect of the Miami Marlins, Fortes was a 3rd round pick in 2018 and was the SEC Player of the Year playing for the Ole Miss Rebels.

Fortes made his MLB during early September 2021, for the Miami Marlins, the team that he grew up watching and he had 24 friends and family in attendance watching him during his debut where he got a hit in his first MLB at-bat.  He then had arguably the biggest at-bat of the Marlins’ night two innings later, sending an elevated sinker a projected 413 feet to left-center field for a two-run home run. In 2023 he stepped into a starting role with the Marlins and he is taking full advantage of the opportunity and has been consistently contributing, catching for 3 pitchers in the rotation on a consistent basis has allowed Fortes to show the importance of having a catcher who’s multi-faceted. Fortes finished the ‘24 season with five defensive runs saved and improved his OPS (.466 to .737 OPS) from the first to second half.

Fortes is batting .244 with 2 homers and 8 RBI in 2025, but has been one of the best hitters in the sport through the first half of June. Over 8 games he’s slashing .409/.440/.591 with a 1.031 OPS.

Nick Fortes

Josiah Gray is a pitcher for the Washington Nationals. Josiah was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 2nd round of the 2018 Major League Baseball draft.

On December 21, 2018, the Reds traded Josiah, along with The Cut client, Jeter Downs, to the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 2019, he was named as the Dodgers Minor League pitcher of the year.
Josiah was added to the Dodgers 40-man roster and promoted to the major leagues for the first time on July 20, 2021. He made his MLB debut the same day, pitching four innings with seven strikeouts versus the San Francisco Giants.

On July 30, 2021, Josiah was traded to the Washington Nationals. He debuted for the team on August 2, 2021, versus the Philadelphia Phillies. Josiah allowed four hits and one run over five innings for no decision. On September 22, 2021, Gray recorded his first Major League win in a 6 inning outing against the Miami Marlins, in which he allowed 6 hits and 2 earned runs while recording 8 strikeouts.

Josiah’s breakout season came last year with the Washington Nationals. He garnered his first All-Star selection in 2023 with a 3.41 ERA leading up to the All-Star game. This included a 2.39 road ERA, the second best in MLB. One thing the Nationals hope is his continued dominance on the road. Josiah posted the second-best ERA across the Majors through the month of June last year at a 2.39 clip, and finished the year third overall in the National League (2.97).

Josiah quickly got involved in the Washington, DC community after being acquired by the Nationals in 2021. He has been the official player ambassador to the Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy since 2022, supporting year-round youth development programs with baseball and softball players. Josiah’s extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy and positive contributions, both on and off the field earned him a Roberto Clemente Award nomination in 2023.

Josiah Gray

Travis Shaw, nicknamed “The Mayor”  is a former MLB infielder known for his time with the Boston Red Sox, Milwaukee Brewers, and Toronto Blue Jays. Making his MLB debut in 2015 with the Red Sox, Shaw's strong bat earned him a spot in the major leagues. Over his eight-year career, he accumulated a .237 batting average, hitting 114 home runs and driving in 366 RBIs, establishing himself as a key contributor to his teams' lineups.

Before entering professional baseball, Shaw had an impactful college career at Kent State University. He was a standout player for the Kent State Golden Flashes, earning All-Mid-American Conference honors and finishing his junior season with 14 home runs, ranking as one of the top hitters in the league. This success led to him being drafted by the Red Sox in 2011.

Shaw’s professional journey continued with a promising start in the minors, which eventually led to his major league debut. Throughout his career, he was praised for his power-hitting abilities and defensive versatility, playing primarily at first base and third base. Shaw remained a valuable asset to each team he played for, cementing his legacy as a reliable power hitter in the MLB. He is the son of 17 year Major League veteran,  and former #1 overall pick - Jeff Shaw.


Travis Shaw

Colton Welker is a professional baseball player currently with the Saraperos de Saltillo in the Mexican Baseball League. Drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the fourth round of the 2016 MLB Draft, Welker opted to forgo his collegiate career to begin his professional journey. He spent his debut season with the Grand Junction Rockies, where he was named both a Pioneer League mid-season All-Star and a Rockies organizational All-Star after batting .329 with five home runs and 36 RBIs in 51 games.

In 2018, Welker played with the Lancaster JetHawks, slashing .333/.383/.489 with 13 home runs and 82 RBIs in 114 games. His stellar performance earned him both mid-season and postseason California League All-Star honors. By 2019, he was one of the youngest players in the Eastern League, playing in Double-A at 3.1 years younger than the league’s average. Throughout his development,Welker transitioning from shortstop to third base after being drafted.

Welker made his Major League debut with the Colorado Rockies on September 8, 2021, before moving on to the San Francisco Giants' Triple-A affiliate. Now playing in the Mexican Baseball League, he continues to demonstrate his offensive prowess and infield versatility, making a strong impact with the Saraperos de Saltillo.

Colton Welker

Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, Rentería was signed by the Florida Marlins in 1992. He debuted with them in 1996, and he finished second to Todd Hollandsworth in Rookie of the Year Award balloting. In 1997, his RBI single off Charles Nagy in the eleventh inning of Game 7 of the 1997 World Series won the first World Series in Marlins' history. He was selected to his first All-Star Game in 1998, and he was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals following the season. He was the starting shortstop for the Cardinals for six years, and he was selected to the All-Star Game in 2000, 2003, and 2004. In 2002 and 2003 he won the Silver Slugger and Gold Glove Awards. Following the 2004 season, he signed with the Boston Red Sox. After a year with them, he was traded to the Atlanta Braves. He was selected to another All-Star Game in 2006, but following the 2007 season he was traded to the Detroit Tigers. After 2008, he became a free agent, and he signed with the San Francisco Giants. In the 2010 World Series, Rentería won the World Series Most Valuable Player Award after he hit game-winning home runs in Game 2 and Game 5. He became a free agent again after the season, and he signed with the Cincinnati Reds.

Well spoken and fluent in both English and Spanish, Edgar lives in Miami and is one of the most famous Columbian athletes. Recently, Édgar has been knighted by Colombia's president.

Brett Gardner made his Major League Baseball debut with the NY Yankees in 2008. Following his rookie campaign, Gardner was named the starting center fielder for the 2009  season where he would lead the Yankees outfield to their 2009 World Series victory against the Philadelphia Phillies. In 2014 Gardner was nominated for the Hank Aaron Award, an honor in which the nomination stems from the decision of NY play-by-play broadcasters for a player's on-field efforts. Gardner, who makes regular visits to children at the New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital during the season, was recognized for his athletic success and philanthropic work after receiving the Thurman Munson Hero Award in the same year.  


Continuing his career in NY, Gardner was selected to the 2015 All-Star Game and rolled right into the 2016 season as he won the Gold Glove Award for American League Left Fielders.  2019 was another year of milestones as Brett joined Derek Jeter as the only two Yankees in history to hit at least 100 home runs and steal 250 bases.  In continuation of his off-field efforts in 2017, Gardner was nominated for the Roberto Clemente Award. This award is given to the player that best represents the game of baseball through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy, and positive contributions, both on and off the field.


On February 23, 2021, Gardner signed a one-year contract  to continue playing with the Yankees. On April 3, during a game against the Toronto Blue Jays, playing left field, Gardner became the 14th Yankees position player to play 14 or more consecutive seasons with the Yankees. In his final season with the Yankees he played in 140 games and hit .222 with 10 home runs and 39 RBI.  In November of 2022 Brett officially became a free agent.

Brett Gardner

Tim Elko is a First Baseman in the Chicago White Sox Organization who played college baseball at the University of Mississippi and was an integral part of the program’s first National Championship. Tim attended Hillsborough High School in Tampa, FL where he was a standout four-year letterwinner. As a senior, Tim was named to the Perfect Game Florida High School Dream Team and was deemed the No. 69 overall recruit in the country by Perfect Game. After graduating with honors, Tim would go on to play for Ole Miss where he would be a 2-time team captain and standout player. He finished his senior season as the 2021 SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the first ever Ole Miss player to win the award.

Tim’s standout senior season involved being named the NCBWA National Hitter of the Month for the month of March and All-South Region by ABCA. His strong year involved a multi-home run game in the 2021 NCAA Oxford Regional game and a double in his final at bat of the season. Tim returned to Ole Miss for his redshirt Senior season where he led Ole Miss in slugging percentage (.642), RBI (75), home runs (24), and total bases (154). Tim was second on the team in hits (72) and runs scored (63), third on the team in on-base percentage (.407) and fourth on the team in batting average (.300). Tim’s 24 home runs in a single season became a new school record. Tim went 4-for-5 with a home run and three runs scored in game one of the College World Series Finals against Oklahoma and was a big contributor to the program’s first CWS win. Tim had a historic collegiate career that included three super regional appearances, an All-American selection and the first national championship in school history.  

Tim was selected by the Chicago White Sox with the 311th overall pick in the 2022 MLB draft. Tim played 7 games for the Sox’s Rookie Ball team, the ACL White Sox, before being promoted to their Low-A affiliate, the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers, where he finished the year hitting a .240 through 96 at-bats.

Tim quickly ascended the Minor League system in 2023, being promoted to the Double-A affiliate in the beginning of August. He slashed .269/.292/.431 with Birmingham that year.

In 2024 Tim bounced between Triple-A and Double-A, batting .289 throughout the year while also tallying 18 home runs and 73 RBI.

In 2025, Tim made his Major League debut with the White Sox on May 10. Tim has appeared in 18 games for the White Sox this year, racking up 4 home runs and 8 RBI, and has been bouncing between the majors and Triple-A.

Tim Elko

Randy Arozarena - Seattle Mariners / Team Mexico (Instagram: 708K, X: 40.2K)

Randy Arozarena is a left fielder for the Seattle Mariners. On July 26, 2024 Randy was traded to the Seattle Mariners from the Tampa Bay Rays. In 2020, Randy was traded to the Tampa Bay Rays after a brief stint with the St. Louis Cardinals. Over 23 games for the 2020 season, Arozarena batted .281 with seven home runs and 11 RBIs. In Game 7 of the American League Championship Series against the Houston Astros, Arozarena hit a two-run home run, surpassing Evan Longoria for most home runs by a rookie in the postseason. Arozarena was named the MVP of the ALCS, becoming the first rookie position player to win the award. In the series, he hit .321 with four home runs and six RBIs. In the World Series, Arozarena hit home runs in the third, fourth, and sixth games, breaking the all-time record for most home runs in a single postseason. In Game 3, he surpassed Derek Jeter for most hits by a rookie in the postseason. In Game 5, he recorded his 27th hit in the postseason, surpassing Pablo Sandoval for the most hits in a single postseason. Arozarena attributed his playoff power stroke to wearing a special pair of lucky cowboy boots, which he calls his "power boots". For the 2021 season, Arozarena batted .274/.356/.459 with 20 home runs, 69 RBIs, 20 stolen bases and 129 OPS+ in 141 games. During game one of the 2021 ALDS against the Boston Red Sox, Arozarena became the first player to hit a home run and steal home in the same game during the playoffs. Following the season's end, Arozarena won the AL Rookie of the Year Award, becoming the first Ray to do so since 2013. In 2022 while he stole 32 bases (tied for third in the majors) he also led the major leagues in caught stealing with 12; he batted .269/.344/.463 with a solid 124 OPS+.



After his defection from Cuba, Randy was granted citizenship in Mexico where he would then join the Mexican National team for the World Baseball Classic. Randy has a daughter who was born in Mexico and he will continue to represent Mexico nationally in her honor as a thank you for the opportunities the country has given him throughout his career. For his performances in the 2023 World Baseball Classic, he was named the Most Valuable Player of Pool C. He willed his team as far as the semis where they would lose a very close game to Japan. After playing in the WBC for Mexico for his first year, his Instagram following grew exponentially from about 126K to 700K+ in approximately 2 weeks. As a reward for their historic performance at the 2023 WBC, Team Mexico was given the Premio Nacional de Deportes 2023, or National Prize for Sports, for professional sports. The honor was bestowed by Mexico’s National Commission for Physical Culture and Sport. Team Mexico members will receive a gold medal from President  López Obrador.



Randy received his first All-Star selection in 2023 in Seattle, where he also participated in the Home Run Derby, against all odds he made it to the finals, nearly beating out the eventual champion Vladimir Guerrero Jr. in an epic battle.



During August, Randy became the first player in Rays franchise history with 20+ home runs and 20+ stolen bases in three consecutive seasons.  Becoming the first MLB player to record three straight 20-20 seasons to begin his career. 



On July 26, 2024 Randy was traded to the Seattle Mariners. He added to this streak in his Mariners debut, hitting one home run and adding a stolen base to his yearly total.  Randy finished the 2024 season with 20+ home runs and 20+ stolen bases. He now has 4 consecutive seasons with this achievement. 



Randy got off to a slow start in 2025, but has started to look like himself in the month of June, slashing .260/.377/.380 over his last 14 games. He started the month off with a walk-off single to beat the Twins. He was then selected for the All-Star for the second time in his career, following a scorching hot start to June where he hit 7 home runs in 11 games. His clutch performance during the final stretch of the season helped lift the Seattle Mariners to the first ALCS berth in over 20 years and the fans quickly were supporting “Playoff Randy”. In early January, Randy made a big announcement that he will return to play for Team Mexico during the 2026 World Baseball Classic to finish what they started.

Randy Arozarena

Chris “CT3” Taylor, is a professional baseball utility player for the Los Angeles Angels. He was selected in the 5th round of the 2012 MLB Draft by the Seattle Mariners after playing college ball for the Virginia Cavaliers. Taylor is extremely popular in LA and is a very telegenic and well-spoken individual. He takes great pride in giving back to the community and works frequently with Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters in his native Virginia Beach. 
 
In 2017, Chris was selected as the co-MVP of the NLCS vs. the Chicago Cubs alongside Justin Turner after slugging an eye-popping .767 and hitting two home runs. He carried his dominant play into the 2017 World Series by hitting a home run on the first pitch by Astros' pitcher Dallas Keuchel, becoming the very first player to hit one out on the first pitch of a World Series. 

Chris has 3 World Series appearances as a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers (2017, 2018, 2020) and became a World Series champion in 2020. Chris has proven himself to be a clutch hitter and a reliable asset as the Dodgers’ utility player. In Game 2 of the 2020 World Series, Chris became the first Los Angeles Dodgers No. 9 hitter to homer in a World Series game since Kirk Gibson’s famous walk-off home run in the 1988 World Series. His 2020 World Series performance included 3 RBIs and 2 runs, each in big time moments, pushing the Dodgers to their first World Series title since 1988.

Chris re-signed with the Dodgers for a 4-year contract with a team option after having an incredible all-star season in 2021 that included a walk-off grand slam in the playoffs. However, the Dodgers released Chris on May 18th, of this year, and was signed by the Los Angeles Angels 10 days later. Head  appeared in 10 games for the Angels when he suffered a fractured hand after being hit by a pitch. In his short time being active for the Angels, he knocked six hits, brought in 3 RBI, and hit a homer.

Chris Taylor

Zach Thompson is a professional baseball pitcher currently playing for the Atlanta Braves in Major League Baseball (MLB). Born on October 23, 1993, in Burleson, Texas, Thompson is known for his versatile pitching style and ability to fill multiple roles on the mound.

Thompson was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the fifth round of the 2014 MLB Draft out of the University of Texas at Arlington. He worked his way through the White Sox minor league system, developing a reputation for his command and adaptability. After several seasons of consistent performance, he made his MLB debut with the Miami Marlins on June 7, 2021.

During his rookie season with the Marlins, Thompson impressed with his poise and effectiveness, earning a spot in the starting rotation and delivering quality outing where he worked to a 3.24 ERA over 75 innings. 

Following his time with Miami, he played for the Pittsburgh Pirates. With the Pirates in 2022, Thompson started 22 games and pitched in 121 innings, posting a 5.18 ERA with 90 strikeouts before joining the Atlanta Braves on October 19, 2024. 

With the Braves in 2025, Thompson has appeared in 2 games out of the bullpen, throwing 3.2 innings of scoreless baseball with 3 strikeouts.

Zack Collins

Neshek is an 18 year major league veteran and two-time All-Star famous for his multi-million dollar collection of memorabilia which has been featured numerous times, including most recently on a special filmed by eBay.  Among relievers, Neshek has the fourth lowest WHIP in major league history.

He has the highest graded sets for 1970 Topps baseball, 1970–71 Topps Hockey, and 1910 Philadelphia Carmel cards, according to PSA. He also worked on collecting a complete set of autographed 1985 Topps baseball cards.

Pat Neshek

Mike Tauchman is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Chicago White Sox. In high school, Tauchman played baseball and football, where he played quarterback and safety. He led a second half comeback against future NFL quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo in a game during his senior year. He enrolled at Bradley University and played college baseball for the Bradley Braves. In 2013, his senior year, he won the Missouri Valley Conference Baseball Player of the Year Award. The Colorado Rockies selected Tauchman in the 10th round of the 2013 MLB draft before trading him to the New York Yankees in 2019. During his time in New York, Tauchman was known as the "sock man" and was a fan favorite for the historic franchise. In April 2021, the Yankees traded Tauchman to the San Francisco Giants for pitcher Wandy Peralta. Tauchman traveled overseas last year after signing a one-year contract with the Hanwha Eagles of the Korean Baseball Organization. While in South Korea, Tauchman had 575 at-bats in 144 games with a .289 batting average.

In 2024, Tauchman proved to be the ultimate swiss army knife for the Cubs, finishing the year hitting .248 and playing multiple positions. Cubs fans have celebrated Tauchman’s return, as he has quickly took over  as the team’s starting center fielder and has solidified himself as leadoff hitter in the lineup.

Mike was put on the IL in June of this season. Once he was reactivated in August, he would make an immediate impact in helping the Cubs work their way back into the playoff picture.

In the offseason, Mike would change teams but stay in his hometown, signing with the Chicago White Sox.
In 2025 with the White Sox, Mike has been very impressive, slashing .273/.381/.500 with 4 home runs. He had an OPS of 1.058 over the final 8 games in May after missing most of the month due to an injury.

Mike Tauchman

Larry Walker grew up with sticks, skates and pads as a hockey hopeful. His sports destiny, however, landed him on the baseball diamond – and with a permanent place in the game’s storied history.

Born Dec.1, 1966, in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Walker followed the path of thousands of other Canadian athletes into the junior hockey ranks. His brother, Carey, was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens, and Larry had visions of a National Hockey League career like the one of Cam Neely, a future Boston Bruin who was Walker’s teammate in junior hockey. Walker found his calling in baseball and played on regional teams and was eventually signed by the Montreal Expos in 1984, as an undrafted free agent. 

From there, Walker was on the fast track to success. After finishing seventh in the 1990 National League Rookie of the Year voting, Walker harnessed his five-tool talent with a work ethic born on the frozen ponds of his home country. He made his first All-Star team in 1992 and also won his first Gold Glove Award that same year, then led the Expos to a 74-40 record in 1994 before the strike ended the season. Between 1995 and 2003, Walker won one home run title (49 in 1997), three batting titles (1998, 1999, 2001), five Gold Glove Awards in right field and the 1997 NL MVP Award. He was the first Canadian born player to win the award. That year, in addition to his league-best 49 home runs, he posted 130 RBI, a .366 average and 33 stolen bases. His 409 total bases that year is the 18th-best total in big league history.

His final numbers: a .313 career batting average, 383 home runs, 1,311 RBI, 230 stolen bases and seven Gold Glove Awards. Walker was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2020.

Larry Walker

Andrew Chafin - nicknamed "Big Country" and/or “The Sheriff” Chafin, is a pitcher for the Washington Nationals. He has previously played for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago Cubs, Oakland Athletics, and Milwaukee Brewers. This his the second stint in Detroit after  64 appearances for the 2022 Tigers, posting 3 saves and a 2.83 ERA, with 67 strikeouts in 57+1⁄3 innings.


Andrew was drafted in the 2011 MLB draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks. He led the major leagues in appearances with the Arizona Diamondbacks and was traded to the Chicago Cubs for the 2020 postseason. He was a key pick-up for the Oakland A’s pitching staff during the 2021 season before being traded to Detroit where he made an immediate impact in 2022.


Now joining Washington as baseball's most underrated ‘Iron Man’, Andrew has been a key addition to the Nationals bullpen. This season Andrew has  brought his charismatic personality to a fan base that was in need of fan favorites both on and off the field. Shutting down opposing teams' hitters all while bringing his witty energy to excite the fans. In 2024, Chafin recorded a career high 70 strikeouts. Through 16 appearances in 2025, Chafin has a 3.18 ERA and 14 strikeouts through 11.1 innings.

Erik Swanson “Swanny Pops” is a RHP for the Toronto Blue Jays. After an impressive college career at Iowa Western, Swanson's talents were recognized by the Texas Rangers, who selected him in the eighth round of the 2014 MLB Draft. After being traded by the Rangers to the Yankees in 2016, Swanson played a few seasons in the minor leagues before being traded to the Seattle Mariners in 2018 where he would start his big league career. Swanson made his debut with Seattle 2019. Swanson logged a career-high 57 appearances in 2022, adding three saves and 14 holds alongside his three wins. Additionally, Swanson mustered a career-best 1.68 ERA and 0.91 WHIP, while his strikeout rate shot up to a blistering 34.0 percent after previously having topped out at 24.3 percent in 2021.

In the 2022 off-season, the Mariners traded Swanson to the Blue Jays where he proved his ‘22 breakout season with Seattle was no fluke. In April, Swanson posted a 4:1 strike:walk through his first 3.1 innings with the Blue Jays. Swanson joins Yimi Garcia and Tim Mayza as the main late-inning options ahead of closer Jordan Romano, and he should easily top last year's career high of 14 holds as a reliever. In June, Swanson received his first save opportunity of 2023 and came through with a scoreless inning to earn his seventh career save. Through his 6 year career in the MLB, Swanson has appeared in 240 games, recording 270 strikeouts.

Sergio Romo is a retired professional baseball closing pitcher best known for his time with the San Francisco Giants where he was an All-Star and won 3 World Series Titles. Romo went to Orange Coast College before transferring to Arizona Western College. Romo was named to the All-Region I second team of the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference in 2002 and 2003. In his senior year with Mesa State, he was the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year. In 2009, the RMAC named Romo "All-Time Top Pitcher.”
 
Romo was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 28th round of the 2005 Major League Baseball draft. He made his big league debut on June 26, 2008. Romo gained notoriety for being one of the team's "Beards", along with LHP Jeremy Affeldt and closer Brian Wilson. In 2011, Romo became the fifth reliever in MLB history to throw nine or more consecutive perfect innings, retiring thirty straight batters in 10 innings over a span of fourteen games from July 4 through August 6. By 2014, Romo came into his five-hundredth career game, becoming the fifth Giants pitcher in franchise history to appear in at least five hundred games. Romo was a force in the bullpen during the SF Giants 3x World Series Championships from 2010-14, often getting key saves in closeout games during these runs.

Sergio Romo

Cameron Junker - A freak of nature out of Notre Dame, Junker is an intimidating 6'5" RH who is a Top 20 prospect with Pittsburgh with a fast ball that tops 96 mph. Junker’s rookie season with the West Virginia Black Bears was dominant, he won all 5 of his starts and posted a 1.29 ERA.In his first 3 seasons in the Minor League, he posted a 13-3 win/loss record. Junker spent his first 5 MLB seasons as a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates organization, with 17 wins and 228 strikeouts under his belt. 


Cameron Junker

A MLB veteran of the Reds, Phillies, Royals and Diamondbacks, and currently the Cleveland Guardians. Lively displayed a dominating performance during the Cincinnati Reds 2023 resurgence. On November 19, 2022, Lively re-signed with the Reds on a new minor league contract. He was assigned to Triple-A Louisville to begin the 2023 season, where he posted a 4-0 record and 2.33 ERA with 16 strikeouts across 5 games (4 starts). On May 9, 2023, Lively had his contract selected to the active roster. He made his first start on May 20 against the New York Yankees, allowing 2 runs on 2 hits and one walk with a career-high 8 strikeouts in 5.2 innings pitched.


Following his great campaign with the Reds in 2023, Lively signed with the Cleveland Guardians and became an integral part of the rotation which was bogged down by injuries.  His impressive effort was crucial to Cleveland’s success in 2024. From April to June 30th, Lively had a 3.03 ERA with a 7.70/2.65 K/BB/9 in 71 innings. He also did it by displaying an aggressively competitive spirit on the mound, endearing himself to Guardians fans as the team ran out to a healthy division lead. 


Through 9 starts in 2025, Lively has a 3.22 ERA with 29 strikeouts. He was off to a scorching start in May, only allowing 1 run in 14 innings over three starts before suffering a right forearm strain.

Ben Lively

Hayden Dunhurst, a catcher in the Kansas City Royals Organization, was an Ole Miss baseball fixture behind the plate and one of the best catchers in college baseball for the three years before getting drafted by the Royals in 2022.

Originally selected by the Colorado Rockies in the 37th round of the 2019 Major League Baseball draft, but did not sign, instead electing to attend Ole Miss. Dunhurst did not attend baseball camps or take lessons when growing up, but instead modeled his catching techniques after Yadier Molina and Salvador Pérez by watching YouTube videos. 

As a freshman at Ole Miss in 2020, Dunhurst appeared in 17 games and batted .269 with five home runs before the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, as a redshirt freshman, Dunhurst made 65 starts and slashed .280/.385/.435 with seven home runs, 43 RBIs, and 11 doubles. He won the ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove award at catcher. After the season, he was named to the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team. Dunhurst entered the 2022 season as a top prospect for the upcoming draft. During his sophomore season, he appeared in 65 games, making 65 starts (59 at catcher, six at DH) ... Became second player in Rebel history to win ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Award ... Selected to USA Baseball Collegiate National Team ... Named to All-SEC Second Team, All-Defensive and All-Newcomer teams.

In Hayden’s junior season, he appeared in 56 games, starting in 54 of them and batted .231 with six home runs, 30 RBI, and 30 runs scored. Hayden went 2-for-4 with a run scored in the Super Regional title clinching game against Southern Mississippi, helping lead Ole Miss to their first ever NCAA Championship.

The Kansas City Royals selected Dunhurst with the No. 125 pick in the 6th round of the 2022 MLB Draft Monday. Rated the No. 147 prospect in the class by Baseball America and the No. 155 prospect by MLB.com, he flashed the potential that had scouts considering him a potential first-round pick.

Hayden began the 2023 season in the Rookie Ball Arizona Complex League and was quickly promoted to the Low-A Carolina League where he split time as a catcher and designated hitter for the Columbia Fireflies. Hayden got to play one game with the High-A Riverbandits before he was sent back to the Fireflies where he will play for the remainder of the season. On April 26, 2024, Hayden signed with the Kane County Cougars of the American Association of Professional Baseball. 

In 2025, Hayden played in 6 games for Kane County before signing with the Lake Country Dockhounds, another team in the American Association of Professional Baseball, on May 30.

Hayden Dunhurst

Jonathan India is an infielder for the Kansas City Royals. After attending American Heritage School in Delray Beach, Florida, Jonathan was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 26th round of the 2015 MLB Draft. Instead of going straight to the MLB, Jonathan opted to play college baseball for the Florida Gators. In the 2018 season, Jonathan hit 21 home runs that were 6th in the nation; he was also awarded SEC Baseball Player of the Year.

As a top prospect in the 2018 MLB Draft, Jonathan was drafted 5th overall by the Cincinnati Reds. This past season, Jonathan played for the Cincinnati Reds’ AA club, the Chattanooga Lookouts. In January 2020, the Cincinnati Reds invited Jonathan to their Major League Spring Training in Goodyear, Arizona, and again in 2021. Jonathan shined and was made the starting second baseman for the Reds at the start of the 2021 regular season. In his first 5 games of this 2021 season, Jonathan has hit 7 RBIs - more than any other Reds player to start a season in franchise history.  He’s since continued to rapidly strengthen his play over the year, earning him Rookie of the Month honors in July. His breakthrough season resulted in him winning the 2021 MLB NL Rookie of the Year with 29 out of 30 1st-place votes and a finalist for a Silver Slugger Award at his position.

The 2023 season for Jonathan and the Reds was one for the history books, with the longest win streak by any team this season at 12-games. The Reds historic feat was something that hadn’t been done in 133 years, winning 12 games in a row following a year where they lost 100+ games the previous season. 

In the month of June of the 2024 season, Jonathan unleashed his true potential and one of his best stretches since entering the MLB. He slashed .380/.454/.587 and had a wRC+ (weighted runs created plus) of 183. He hit 13 doubles in June and carried the offense at a time when they desperately needed it. India was awarded NL Player of the Week honors in the last week of June. He batted .539 (14-for-26), hit 10 doubles, drew four walks, and had only three strikeouts. He also scored eight runs, recorded 5 RBIs, and rode a 12-game hit streak.

Ahead of the 2025 season, Jonathan was traded to the Kansas City Royals where he will be a crucial player to help the team return to the playoffs.

This year with the Royals, India has been a critical piece of the team’s young core. From May 19 to May 29, India got hot, hitting .322 with an .800 OPS, helping to keep the Royals afloat during a slow stretch.

Jonathan India

Nick Martini is an American professional baseball outfielder  in the Colorado Rockies organization. He was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the seventh round of the 2011 MLB Draft from the University of South Alabama.Martini made his MLB debut with the Oakland Athletics on June 6, 2018. Over the next few years, he played for the San Diego Padres, Chicago Cubs, and Cincinnati Reds. In 2022, he signed with the NC Dinos of the KBO League, where he had a standout season, hitting .296 with 16 home runs and 85 RBIs. He was named an All-Star in the KBO that year.

In 2023, Martini returned to MLB, signing a minor league contract with the Cincinnati Reds. He was promoted to the major leagues in August 2023, appearing in 29 games and batting .264 with six home runs and 16 RBIs. In 2024, he made the Reds' Opening Day roster, hitting two home runs on Opening Day.  He underwent thumb surgery in July 2024 and was activated from the injured list in September. In 52 games for Cincinnati that season, he slashed .212/.272/.370 with five home runs and 24 RBIs.

On January 15, 2025, Martini signed a minor league contract with the Colorado Rockies, which includes an invitation to spring training.
