Jorge Masvidal

Jorge Masvidal is a professional mixed martial artist from Miami, Florida who is known for his striking, versatile skill set, and charismatic personality. Masvidal is not only one of the most recognized names in the UFC's welterweight division, but he has become a global phenomenon. Nicknamed “Gamebred,” Masvidal made his professional MMA debut in 2003 at the age of 18 after coming up with Miami legend Kimbo Slice. After compiling an impressive pro record in organizations such as EliteXC and Strikeforce, Masvidal would sign with the UFC in 2013, winning his debut at UFC on Fox 7. This would mark the beginning of a remarkable career in the UFC. Masvidal fought notable opponents from 2013-2018, with victories over Darren Till and Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, before his rise to UFC stardom began in 2019.
