

Marcus Epps is a safety for the Philadelphia Eagles. He played college football at the University of Wyoming and in his last year was considered one of the top playmakers in the Mountain West Conference. Epps finished the season with 68 tackles and 4 interceptions and finished his college career with 262 tackles, 9 interceptions and 4 fumble recoveries. He was then drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2019 NFL Draft. Epps played as the starting safety for the Philadelphia Eagles talented secondary on their way to the Super Bowl in 2023. Epps recorded 186 tackles (134 solo) over 3 seasons (2020-22), the most among Eagles defensive backs over that span. During the offseason of 2023 he was signed by the Las Vegas Raiders. Marcus Epps helped to turn the tide on the Raiders defense into becoming one that's top ranked in the NFL. Not to mention he was also voted a team captain. In 2024, Marcus was off to a great start prior to getting hurt and ending his 2024 season early. Prior to the 2025 season he was signed by the New England Patriots as they look to have him step right into a big role to bolster their defense. Marcus still has heavy ties to Southern California, operating as the founder and owner of EBS Performance + Fitness in Costa Mesa. The performance center is a passion project to Epps as "something that I wanted to do to give back to younger, inspiring athletes [and] creating a safe space." He started the gym – which specializes in personal training and group fitness classes plus hosts youth football camps.
