

The History • Hydrox® is the original crème-filled sandwich cookie, pre-dating Oreo® by four years. • Created by Sunshine® Biscuit in 1908. • Keebler® acquired Sunshine® Biscuit in 1996. • In 1999, Keebler, in an effort to make the cookie more kid friendly, changed the cookie design and flavor formulation making it sweeter. In addition the Hydrox® name was changed to Droxies®. • Kellogg's® acquired Keebler® in 2001, and discontinued the Droxies® brand in 2003.
